Cardiff | £55,000 - £60,000 | Monday-Friday

Reed Recruitment are working with a leading manufacturing site who recruiting for an experienced Automation Engineer to support and develop PLC, robotics, vision, and control systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll drive automation improvements, support capital projects, reduce downtime, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Key Skills & Experience

Allen Bradley ControlLogix & CompactLogix PLCs
Siemens, Omron & Mitsubishi PLCs
ABB, Fanuc & Mitsubishi robotics
Keyence vision and automated inspection systems
SCADA/MES integration and manufacturing data systems
PLC programming, troubleshooting and optimisation
Root cause analysis and fault finding in automated environments
PLC, HMI and robot backup/version control management
Automation upgrades, commissioning and capital projects
OEE improvement and downtime reduction initiativesThis is an excellent opportunity to join a manufacturing business and play a key role in driving automation.
