Automation Tester – Web Testing | 4-6 Month Contract | £400 - £450 per day, Outside IR35
Fully Remote (UK-based)
Langham is working with a UK PLC who are looking for a contract Automation Tester to support the launch of a new website. You'll focus on developing automated test coverage for complex user journeys, APIs, and integrations across the platform.
Role:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
Build out functional and regression test suites to support CI/CD pipelines
Validate dataflows and system integrations (e.g. Azure Service Bus)
Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to prioritise fixes and improvements
Contribute to test planning, test case design, and documentationRequirements:
Solid experience in test automation using tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
Proven ability to test complex user journeys and backend integrations
Experience with API testing (e.g. Postman, REST Assured, or built-in framework tools)
Familiarity with Jira and Agile workflows
UK-based and able to start ASAPBefore You Apply
