Job Description

My client based in Spalding is looking for an automotive business manager to join their team. This role will include leading a team of Sales Executives to deliver exceptional customer service, and enhance sales profitability. Responsibilities include driving sales of finance products, supporting sales strategy development, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate has management experience in a car showroom or as a senior sales executive.

To be successful in this role you will have;

  * A proven track record as a Business Manager, Sales Controller or Sales Manager within the automotive industry. Alternatively a Senior Sales Executive with skills and experience which demonstrates readiness of a promotional step.

  * Good financial and commercial understanding

  * A positive and forward thinking work ethic

  * The skills and experience to lead and inspire a team

  * A proactive and organised approach

  * Exceptional communication, and interpersonal skills

  * Experience working as part of a team in a target driven environment, supporting both shared and personal objectives.

Your duties will include;

  * Your main goal will be to enhance the sales and profitability of used vehicles and related products.

  * Effectively motivate and support the sales team to reach expected targets.

  * Deliver exceptional and personalised customer service.

  * Ensure effective stock management and profiling.

  * Support site maintenance efforts alongside Management.

  * Mentor and lead a sales team to enhance departments performance.

  * Strive towards career progression with support from our business.

The Automotive Business Manager role is offering a salary of £25 000 with an OTE of £100k. Please note the business does not have a Sales Manager function so the BM role will manage the team and transactional part of the dealership hence the high OTE. Proof of OTE will be given at interview stage.
