Our client is a well-known and reputable HGV dealership based in Southampton with several depots across South of England. They are looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant / Automotive Marketing Assistant / Logistic Marketing Assistant to join their successful business.

The Role
As Marketing Assistant, you’ll play a key role in how our client communicates, promotes, and connects with customers. You’ll help deliver marketing activity that strengthens our brand, supports customer engagement, and aligns with Renault Trucks UK’s national campaigns. You’ll work across digital, print, and in-person channels—creating content, managing assets, supporting events, and helping bring our marketing strategy to life.
This is a brand-new role, so you’ll need to be confident working independently as well as collaborating with the wider team.
Travel is essential – you’ll regularly visit our depots to review branding and marketing materials, engage with local teams, support group-wide initiatives, attend training and marketing meetings, and assist with shows and events.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Maintain consistent and engaging branding across all channels and locations.
· Create compelling content: blogs, newsletters, social posts, and marketing copy.
· Support websites, email campaigns, and digital advertising.
· Assist in planning and delivering exhibitions, open days, and promotional events.
· Build and grow engagement on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and X.
· Coordinate local campaigns with Renault Trucks UK’s national marketing initiatives.
· Track performance, research trends, and identify new marketing opportunities.
· Ensure marketing materials are maintained and up to date across all depots.
Who We’re Looking For
A motivated, organised, and creative marketer who can take ownership of projects while working closely with the wider team.
Essential:
· Minimum of three years’ marketing experience
· Strong writing and communication skills
· Proactive, can-do attitude with excellent attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
· Willingness to travel regularly to all locations
Desirable:
· Experience in event planning or campaign coordination
· Knowledge of automotive, logistics, or commercial vehicles
