     Service Advisor
    
    position based in
    
     Wakefield
    
    . Working within a busy and thriving dealership, you will be joining a forward-thinking and well-established family-run business. Working hours are
    
     Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm
    
    , along with
    
     1 in 2 Saturdays 8am to 12pm
    
    . You will be rewarded with a
    
     basic salary of up to £30,000
    
    , alongside a rewarding bonus structure, with further negotiation available depending on experience. This role also offers excellent working conditions, long-term career stability and genuine opportunities for progression.

Job Duties Include:

Act as the first point of contact for customers, delivering a professional and friendly service at all times.

Book in vehicle service, maintenance and repair appointments efficiently.

Accurately prepare job cards and workshop instructions for the technicians.

Keep customers updated throughout the repair process, providing clear communication on vehicle progress and costs.

Liaise closely with the Workshop Controller and Vehicle Technicians to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales.

Prepare accurate service estimates and explain repair recommendations to customers.

Upsell additional products, services and manufacturer-recommended repairs where appropriate.

Process invoices and take payments upon vehicle collection.

Handle customer queries and resolve concerns in a professional and efficient manner.

Maintain accurate customer records using the dealership management system.

Ensure all administration is completed accurately and in line with company procedures.

Deliver exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business and maintain high customer satisfaction levels.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a
     
      Service Advisor
     
     within the automotive industry.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a busy dealership environment.

Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.

Experience using Kerridge, Pinnacle or other dealership management systems would be advantageous.

Good computer literacy and administration skills.

Ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

A positive attitude with a professional and customer-focused approach.
