Salary: Up to £45,000 + Overtime + Company Vehicle

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off nights
About the Role
Our client, a leading provider in automotive tehcnology designed for the transportation sector, is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their growing service team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong hands-on technical background and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
The Role
The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems across London. The role involves working independently on-site, diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and ensuring client satisfaction with every visit.
Key Responsibilities
*
Perform installation, commissioning, and servicing of equipment at client sites for vehicle CCTV and Electrical systems
*
Carry out routine maintenance and emergency repairs
*
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions
*
Maintain detailed service records and complete job reports accurately
*
Ensure all work complies with health & safety and regulatory standards
*
Build strong relationships with clients through professional and effective communication
*
Participate in on-call rotation or overtime as required
*
Experience working on HGV/BUS/COACH systems is essential
Required Skills & Experience
*
Proven experience in a similar field-based engineering or technical role
*
Background in security systems, automotive services, or electrical maintenance
*
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
*
Good communication and customer service skills
*
Comfortable working independently and managing own schedule
*
Full UK driving licence
