AV Media Server/Technical Project Manager
Central London - Hybrid Role
Own the AV and LED technical backbone of London's most advanced experiential venue. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the visual infrastructure that powers multi-million-pound brand activations.

The Role
As the AV Media Server/Technical Project Manager, you'll own the entire visual media infrastructure powering these experiences. Media servers and LED processors at production scale. Your responsibilities include maintenance, improvement, troubleshooting, and strategic planning for systems that must deliver zero-failure playback across rotating campaigns, where major brand investments depend on your technical expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
* System Management and Improvement: Oversee and manage media servers and LED processors, guaranteeing seamless playback and integration across displays. Conduct regular system checks, preventative maintenance, and updates to sustain peak functionality of visual systems.
* Technical Troubleshooting and Support: Lead, diagnosing and resolving play-out issues promptly and applying real-time troubleshooting to fix hardware or software malfunctions. Act as the primary point of contact for any technical problems, coordinating with support teams or third-party vendors as needed.
* Preventive and Reactive Maintenance: Conduct visual inspections of server racks, LED panels, and other system components to identify and proactively address potential issues. Manage on-site support for system failures that require immediate attention, including LED panel replacements, with follow-up reporting and documentation for each service call.
* Content Integration and Agency Partnership Guide content creation teams on technical specifications to guarantee compatibility with media server systems, simplifying content integration. Provide feedback and support during the content preparation phase for smooth deployment and compatibility.
* Strategic Oversight and System Improvement: Lead strategic planning and long-term vision for visual technology integration, identifying trends and recommending future-focused solutions to enhance in-venue experiences. Develop and refine maintenance protocols, system upgrades, and procedures to ensure the immediate and future readiness of all visual display systems.
* Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage and allocate budgets for maintenance, system upgrades, and external vendor services for cost-effective operation of visual systems. Contribute to financial planning and resource allocation, balancing quality and efficiency in alignment with business objectives.
* Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of system changes, support tickets, and maintenance activities for a clear operational history. Generate monthly reports on system performance, uptime, and any maintenance or incident resolution metrics.
