Job Description
Excellent opportunity for an AV Production Engineer (£30,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits) to join our Client's expanding team in Exeter.
Your role will include:
Preparation, final assembly, looming and terminating a wide range of cabling and hardware
Testing products prior to shipping
Maintain high standards of manufacturing, producing quality, compliant products
Assembly and wiring of system hardware and terminating specialist connectors using crimp and solder terminations.
Looming and interconnecting hardware components.
Working from technical drawings, specifications and wiring diagrams to correctly assemble products in accordance with relevant standards and
Working as part of a small team.Qualifications and Skills Required:
Recognised, appropriate technical qualifications, e.g. NVQ level 3, SVQ/NVQ level 3, Level 3 vocational award, A-Level, BTEC National Certificate or Diploma.
Excellent hands on skills and attention to detail.
Ability to interpret and follow wiring schematics and technical documentation.
Knowledge and experience of IT networks, firmware, fault finding and testing.
Proven soldering, cable preparation and terminating skills.
Ability to communicate well with other team members.
A willingness to work as part of a wider team and develop your own potential.
