Governance & Policies: Enforce Azure policies, role-based access control (RBAC), management group structures, and tagging standards to prevent resource sprawl.
Automation & IaC: Build reusable deployment modules and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates.
Security & Compliance: Monitor threat landscapes via Microsoft Defender, implement least-privilege models, and remediate vulnerabilities to maintain compliance.
Cost & Performance Optimization: Utilize Azure Advisor and cost-management tools to right-size virtual machines and optimize cloud spend.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Experience: 3-5+ years of hands-on experience managing and scaling enterprise Azure environments.
Identity & Access: Deep understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and conditional access policies.
Scripting: Proficiency in PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python for automation tasks.
Cloud Infrastructure: Solid knowledge of Azure compute, networking, storage, and monitoring solutions (e.g., DataDog).
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Security Engineer Associate, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert are highly desired.
