Job Description

With a strong industry reputation and an experienced engineering team, they are now seeking a B1.3 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to join their Gloucestershire base.

✈️ About the Role:
This position focuses on maintenance of the Bell 206 Jet Ranger. Engineers with a valid UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 licence and Bell 206 type rating are highly encouraged to apply.
Type training may be provided for the right candidate.
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
*
Certify aircraft maintenance tasks in accordance with company authorisations and regulatory approvals
*
Conduct line and base maintenance at the Staverton facility and off-site locations as needed
*
Ensure compliance with all regulatory (CAA, EASA) and internal standards
*
Provide engineering status updates to senior leadership
*
Support cross-department coordination for operational efficiency
*
Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff
*
Maintain accurate records using Microsoft-based maintenance systems
*
Stay current with CPD requirements and company training standards
*
Effectively plan and manage maintenance workloads
✅ Candidate Requirements:
*
UK CAA Part 66 B1.3 Licence (Bell 206 type rating preferred)
*
Demonstrable recent experience with rotary aircraft maintenance
*
Strong understanding of airworthiness regulations and maintenance procedures
*
Right to live and work in the UK
*
Ability to travel occasionally for off-site support
*
Proficiency in using maintenance documentation and IT systems
