Job Description
We are excited to be recruiting for a passionate Room Leader to join our welcoming nursery in Acton. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years professional who is ready to take the next step in their career and lead practice in our baby room.

As a Room Leader, you will play a key role in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children under two. You will lead by example, supporting and inspiring your team to deliver outstanding care and learning experiences. Strong communication, excellent organisational skills, and a genuine love for working with babies are essential.
This is a full-time position, working 40 hours per week, 47 weeks of the year. Holidays are taken during nursery closures – one week at Christmas, two weeks at Easter, and two weeks in August.
The salary for the Room Leader role is between £28,000 and £33,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the baby room as the Room Leader
* Ensure high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for all children
* Support and mentor your team, fostering professional development
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers, offering daily feedback and support
* Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to the needs of each child
Requirements:
* A relevant Level 3 childcare qualification or above
* Previous experience working with babies in a nursery setting
* Experience in a leadership role is desirable
* A positive, proactive, and caring approach
