Baby Room Practitioner – Bilingual Nursery - Central London
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
Location: Central London
Hours: Full-time or Part-time - 36-40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent
A bilingual nursery in Central London is seeking a warm, passionate, and qualified Baby Room Practitioner to join their dedicated team. This setting offers a nurturing, family-like atmosphere and blends the Early Years Foundation Stage with a French-inspired curriculum. About the Role:
You’ll work with babies aged 3 to 24 months, supporting their development and preparing them for a smooth transition into the Toddler Room. As a key person, you’ll build strong relationships with children and families, plan engaging activities, and ensure each child thrives in a safe and loving environment.
Responsibilities:
* Act as a key person to a small group of babies
* Monitor developmental milestones and progress
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities
* Support babies’ independence and transitions
* Promote health, safety, and well-being
* Follow safeguarding procedures
* Build strong relationships with parents and provide regular updates
Requirements:
* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood
* Minimum 1 year experience in a Baby Room setting
* Strong understanding of the EYFS
* Willingness to grow into leadership roles
