Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias (minimum 70:30 split) to join a team in a fast-paced food production environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working on a variety of production machinery and systems, particularly within the food industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance, repair, and servicing of machinery including:
Dividers
Conveyors
Belts
Bearings
Flow Wrappers
Ovens
Packaging Machinery
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults to minimize downtime
Working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Performing both planned and reactive maintenance tasks
Ensuring machinery operates at optimal performance with minimal disruption to production
Requirements:
Strong mechanical background with a bias of at least 70:30 (mechanical to electrical)
Proven experience working with hydraulics and pneumatics
Ideally 5+ years of experience within the food manufacturing industry
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenanceBefore You Apply
