Band 7 Pharmacist – Acute Hospital (Ward-Based)
- Location: Lancashire
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:45 AM – 17:00 PM
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract Duration: 10 weeks
- Pay Rate: £22.76/hour – Standard £36.42/hour – Bank Holidays
Role Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Band 7 Pharmacist to join our team working onsite at a busy acute hospital. This is a full-time, temporary position for a period of 10 weeks, offering an excellent opportunity to work across a variety of specialities including:
General Medicine
Surgery
Orthopaedics
This is a ward-based role requiring strong clinical and communication skills, with responsibilities including:
Conducting medicines reconciliation
Reviewing patients and making clinical interventions
Processing discharges
Using electronic prescribing systems
Requirements:
Must have experience working in an acute hospital environment
Proven ability to work in a ward-based clinical setting
Strong working knowledge of electronic prescribing systems
GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
