Job Description
We’re delighted to be supporting a local organisation with the recruitment of a Barista to join their on-site café on an initial temporary basis with potential to lead to a permanent role.
You’ll be responsible for crafting delicious hot drinks, preparing food and maintaining a welcome space for customers. This opportunity is perfect for someone with previous experience who enjoys working in a front facing customer service role.
Please note that this is an ongoing temporary assignment, and due to the urgent requirements of the business, applicants must be available to start immediately.
Hourly rate £12.64
Working hours Monday to Friday 8am - 4pm / 7.30am - 3pm
This role is fully on-site
Candidates must be immediately available or with short notice
Duties and responsibilities:
Greeting and serving customers
Cooking breakfast and light lunches
Taking orders and preparing hot drinks and food
Selling confectionery and snacks
Taking payments
General cleaning and tidying of the café
Supporting with catering orders - making sandwiches and preparing orders
Skills and experience required:
Experience working as a Barista or within a food/waitressing environment
Strong customer service and communication skills
Good team player
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Motivated and can work under pressureBefore You Apply
