Senior Engineer – Bazel Backend Engineer

We’re looking for a collaborative and curious Engineer to help shape the next generation of developer infrastructure and tooling.

You’ll play a key role in building a unified, scalable monorepo ecosystem that empowers engineers to innovate swiftly across components and teams.

What You’ll Do

Drive the evolution of backend engineering by leveraging your expertise in Bazel and large-scale monorepos.
Lead migration efforts and maintain Bazel along with abstractions that enhance developer experience.
Collaborate with infrastructure teams to define what a best-in-class monorepo experience looks like.

Who You Are

Passionate about developer productivity and experience.
Skilled in building and maintaining tools for large monorepo-based codebases.
Strong problem-solving abilities.
Experienced with Bazel and its ecosystem (e.g., rulesets like rules_jvm_external, IntelliJ Bazel plugin).
Proficient in Java and TypeScript.
