About the Role
Long Term Futures are looking to appoint a proactive and patient Behaviour Mentor to support young learners in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Nottingham. This long-term opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about helping children overcome behavioural challenges and develop positive habits both inside and outside the classroom. The role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Provide one-to-one and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs.
Create a calm, structured learning environment using de-escalation and behaviour management techniques.
Work closely with the classroom teacher and SENCO to implement support strategies.
Act as a positive role model to young learners, encouraging resilience and emotional regulation.What We're Looking For
Prior experience working in a primary school or education setting.
Confidence in using proven behaviour management and de-escalation
Ability to remain calm and nurturing under pressure.
