Job Description
ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Kidderminster on a full-time basis.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will provide personalised assistance and behavioural support to students, helping them re-engage with learning in a positive and structured environment.
Support will be given in small class settings of 8 on a 1:1 basis, ranging from 5-19 years of age, enabling you to have a greater individual impact.
Work closely with class teachers to support academic progress and provide pastoral care and guidance, helping to foster emotional resilience and improved behaviour.
This is a full-time role, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

About you:
To be considered for the Behaviour Support Assistant position, you will have:
Previous experience working with children in a school or educational setting, especially with those who have special needs, is desirable.
Experience through volunteer work in schools, camps, or tutoring can be considered.
Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
