We're looking for a Behaviour & Wellbeing Mentor to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in the OX4 area of Oxford. This is a full-time role, perfect for someone who wants to gain experience in the fields of education, psychology, youth work, or social care.
As a Behaviour & Wellbeing Mentor, you will play a vital role in helping students manage emotional challenges, build positive habits, and stay engaged in learning. You'll work closely with children who may be dealing with trauma, anxiety, or behavioural difficulties.
Your responsibilities as a Behaviour & Wellbeing Mentor:
Deliver one-on-one and small group support tailored to SEMH needs
Implement behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
Build consistent, trusting relationships with pupils
Contribute to a structured, therapeutic learning environment
This Behaviour & Wellbeing Mentor role requires resilience, empathy, and a calm, grounded approach. You'll be part of a skilled, caring team that understands the importance of connection and consistency in helping students succeed.
