We’re working with a specialist SEND school in the heart of York that’s looking for a Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent — ideal for anyone looking to grow their skills and build a rewarding career in SEND education.

💰 Pay: £16.00 per hour

📄 Contract: Full-time, long-term (with permanent opportunities)
What You’ll Be Doing
Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex needs
Assist with personal care and daily routines when required
Encourage engagement in lessons, therapies, and sensory activities
Use positive behaviour management strategies to support progress
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to meet pupil needs
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child can thriveWhy This Role Is Great
