Do you have a passion for supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour within a school environment? If so, we’d love to hear from you! The Role - Behaviour Mentor We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEMH school in Southwark. In this role, you will work closely with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing tailored 1:1 support to help them overcome challenges and reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will be passionate about empowering young people, with a genuine commitment to recognising and nurturing each child’s individual strengths. You should bring at least one year’s experience in a school or educational setting, along with the ability to build positive, trusting relationships and make a real difference in students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The School – Behaviour Mentor This SEMH school, situated in the heart of Southwark with excellent transport links across London, provides specialist education for 67 students aged 11–19 with ASD, SEMH needs, and challenging behaviour. The school is known for its supportive and inclusive environment, offering an excellent opportunity for a Behaviour Mentor to make a real impact while developing their skills and progressing within the school’s nurturing and forward-thinking community.
