Behaviour Mentor - SEMH School (Lewisham)
Location: Lewisham, London
Salary: £100 - £115 per day
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Full-Time
Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor looking for a rewarding role in an SEMH school? We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate individual to join a dedicated team in Lewisham, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
The Role
Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEMH needs.
Implement behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques.
Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
Mentor pupils to build confidence, resilience, and emotional regulation.
Monitor progress and contribute to tailored intervention plans.
Requirements
Experience working with SEMH pupils is essential.
Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, empathetic approach.
Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
Immediate availability.
