Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor or SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new and rewarding challenge in 2026?
A thriving specialist secondary school in Oldham is seeking a dedicated, patient, and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join their growing team. This role has been created due to increased student demand within the local area. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including challenging behaviour and additional learning needs such as ASC.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a key role in supporting class and subject teachers to maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. Working with students in KS3-KS4, you will provide:
1:1 support
Small-group interventions
Whole-class behaviour support
You will help pupils develop confidence, improve social and emotional skills, and achieve their academic goals, using effective behaviour management techniques throughout.

What We're Looking For
✔ Experience working in a specialist education, residential, or care environment

✔ A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Psychology degree) is desirable but not essential
