Behaviour Mentor - SEN School | Richmond | Immediate Start

We are recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to join a specialist SEN school in Richmond, supporting pupils with complex needs including SEMH, Autism, and other additional learning or behavioural challenges. This is a rewarding role where your skills, patience, and resilience will directly impact the lives of pupils every day.
The Role:
Provide targeted 1:1 and small group support to pupils with behavioural and emotional needs
Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to implement individual behaviour plans
Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and social skills development
Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and engaging fully in learning
Model positive behaviour and act as a role model within the school environmentWe are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with children or young people with SEMH or complex behavioural needs
Is calm, patient, and resilient under pressure
Can build trusting relationships and motivate pupils effectively
Has excellent communication and teamwork skills
Is proactive, reliable, and committed to making a positive impactEssential Requirements:
Must hold or be willing to obtain a Child and Adult DBS
Must be able to commit to a full-time, long-term roleWhat's on offer:
