Behaviour Mentor – Secondary School – Harlow | Immediate Start | Full-Time Are you passionate about supporting young people and helping them overcome barriers to learning? We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming secondary school in Harlow. This is a full-time role supporting students who may require additional support with behaviour, engagement, emotional regulation, attendance, confidence, and wellbeing. The Role As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring to students across Key Stages 3 and 4 Support students with behaviour management, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning Build positive and professional relationships that promote confidence, resilience, and self-esteem Work closely with Pastoral Leaders, Heads of Year, SENCOs, Safeguarding Teams, and Teaching Staff Implement targeted intervention strategies to improve behaviour, attendance, and outcomes Support students both inside and outside the classroom Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment What We're Looking For A patient, empathetic, and proactive individual Experience working with young people in education, youth work, coaching, mentoring, care, or support settings Strong communication and relationship-building skills Confidence supporting students with challenging behaviour and additional needs A genuine passion for helping young people succeed Graduates, aspiring teachers, youth workers, sports coaches, support workers, and psychology graduates are highly encouraged to apply Pay & Benefits £93– £120 per day (depending on experience) Fortnightly pay – reliable and consistent Full-time, long-term opportunity with potential for permanent placement Excellent experience for careers in teaching, educational psychology, social work, counselling, youth work, safeguarding, SEND, SEMH, and pastoral support Why Work with GSL Education?
