Job Description Behaviour Mentor - Secondary SEND School Location: Leicester Start Date: August 2025 Setting: Special School (KS3-KS4) - SEMH focus Contract: Full-time | Temp-to-perm A specialist SEMH secondary school in Leicester is seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to support students aged 11-16 with complex social and emotional needs. This role is ideal for a strong communicator with a passion for helping students overcome behavioural barriers to learning. Main Duties: Deliver behaviour interventions and mentoring programmes Build trust-based relationships with high-needs pupils Support students with crisis management and emotional regulation Encourage attendance, engagement and self-esteem Ideal Background: Previous work in a PRU, special school or youth support setting Confidence dealing with challenging behaviour Team Teach or MAPA training desirable Step into a rewarding role this August by emailing dominic.watts or clicking apply
