Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people with complex learning needs?
SparkEd Recruitment are working with a friendly and progressive school to recruit various Behaviour Support Assistants in the Southwark area to work across key stage 3 and key stage 4, with children that have been diagnosed with Special Educational Needs (SEND) and Social, Emotional Mental Health (SEMH).
SEMH Needs: Challenging Behaviour, Anxiety, Depression and Trauma
Applications for the position are welcome from candidates of ranging experience although previous experience working with students with challenging behaviour is an advantage due to the nature of the role.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A flexible, enthusiastic attitude and a genuine interest in working with children with special educational needs.
* No prior school experience required – we’ll provide online training to equip you with the skills you need.
* Graduates or those with transferrable skills in areas like childcare, psychology, or social care are encouraged to apply.
* You should have the energy, patience, and dedication to support children with complex needs, including Autism and ADHD.
