Behaviour Specialist – ASD Experience | Full-Time | Cwmbran | September Start Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? Do you have experience managing complex behaviours and creating positive, inclusive environments? If so, this could be the perfect role for you. We’re seeking a dedicated, full-time Behaviour Specialist to join a nurturing and forward-thinking setting in Cwmbran, starting in September 2025. Role Overview: As a Behaviour Specialist, you will work closely with pupils who have ASD and related behavioural needs, helping them to engage in learning and achieve their full potential. You’ll develop tailored strategies, deliver targeted support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe, structured and positive environment. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialist 1:1 and small group behaviour support to pupils with ASD Develop and implement individualised behaviour intervention plans (BIPs) Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals Monitor and track behavioural progress, adapting strategies as needed Promote emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour Support the wider school team with behaviour management strategies and training About You: We’re looking for someone with a proactive mindset, a calm and empathetic approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and staff. You’ll be resilient, patient, and committed to helping every child thrive.
