Daily Pay: £95 - £115

Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a well-regarded and inclusive secondary school in Waltham Forest, seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for supporting young people in overcoming barriers to learning and promoting positive behaviour across Key Stages 3 and 4.
About the Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils who need additional guidance with managing their behaviour and emotional regulation. The successful candidate will:
Provide one-on-one mentoring to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs
Deliver small group interventions focused on behaviour management and emotional wellbeing
Work closely with the school's pastoral and SEN team to support positive outcomes
Assist with classroom management strategies and help pupils re-engage with learning
Monitor and track pupil progress, providing regular feedback to key staffThis full-time Behaviour Mentor role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a significant difference to pupils' academic and personal development.
What We're Looking For
Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor, Teaching Assistant, or in a pastoral support role in a secondary school setting
Strong behaviour management skills and an ability to build positive relationships with pupils
A calm, patient and firm but supportive approach
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
