Behaviour Mentor – SEN College – Croydon Location
* Behaviour Mentor required for SEN College
* Behaviour Mentor required for Croydon location
* Behaviour Mentor required to support students with ASD, SEMH and Challenging Behaviour
* Behaviour Mentor must have at least 1 years experience supporting young people with ASD, SEMH and Challenging Behaviour
* Behaviour Mentor required for long term role starting in September
Are you a Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about supporting young people to reach their potential?
We are seeking a resilient Behaviour Mentor to join our dedicated team and provide personalised support to students who may struggle with emotional regulation, engagement, and behaviour.
Your Role Will Include – Behaviour Mentor
* Building positive, trusting relationships with students aged 14–19
* Supporting students with emotional regulation and anxiety management
* Providing 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions
* Assisting with behaviour support planning and de-escalation strategies
* Working closely with teaching staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
* Encouraging social skills, independence, and engagement in learning
* Helping create a calm, inclusive and structured learning environment
What We’re Looking For – Behaviour Mentor
* Experience supporting young people with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and anxiety
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with vulnerable learners
* Calm, patient, and emotionally intelligent approach to behaviour management
* Knowledge of behaviour support strategies, trauma-informed practice or Team Teach (training can be provided)
* Background in education, youth work, mentoring or similar settings
