Behaviour Mentor:
In this highly rewarding Behaviour Mentor position you would be responsible for ensuring that students’ attendance, behaviour, and attitudes to themselves, others and their academic development will allow them to achieve good outcomes.
You would be part of a cohesive support team who would be heavily contributing to student’s school day and it would be ideal if you have had experience in safeguarding, mentoring, counselling or SEMH -or who have previously worked as a Behaviour Mentor & can build trusting relationships.

Behaviour Mentor – The Role:
Support students with behavioural needs
Students can range from having an ADHD, ASC, SEMH diagnosis
Carry out 1:1 and group intervention sessions
Collaborate with experienced teachers and support staff
Behaviour Mentor – what makes you suited to this role:
Patience, resilience, and approachability
Calm, understanding and proactive attitude
Prior education experience within SEN /Safeguarding / Inclusion / Pastoral roles
Ability to communicate effectively with the SENDCO, class teacher, and parents
You can work independently and as part of a team
