Location: Hammersmith and Fulham, West London
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30am–4:00pm)
Contract: Long-term agency placement (via ANZUK), with potential for permanent opportunities
Pay: £90-£105 per day
Behaviour Mentor – Primary School – Hammersmith and Fulham (September Start)
ANZUK Education is working with a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham to recruit a full-time Behaviour Mentor for a long-term role starting in September 2025. This position will involve working 1:1 with a pupil in Year 5 who presents with challenging behaviour and requires consistent, structured support to remain engaged in learning.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in behaviour support, youth work, SEMH settings, or mentoring, who are passionate about making a difference in a child’s educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide consistent 1:1 behavioural and emotional support for a Year 5 pupil
* Support the pupil in managing behaviour and developing self-regulation strategies
* Build a trusting and supportive relationship to encourage engagement in learning
* Work closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and pastoral staff to implement behaviour plans
* Help create a calm, structured, and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Experience supporting children or young people with challenging behaviour
* A calm, firm, and empathetic approach to behaviour management
* Strong communication and de-escalation skills
* A background in education, youth work, mentoring or SEMH is desirable
* A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Availability for full-time work from September 2025
