The Role - Behaviour Mentor
We are looking for a proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a well-established all-through SEMH school in Southwark. The school caters to boys aged 5-16 with a range of Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with teaching staff to support students who may struggle to engage with learning due to behavioural challenges. You’ll use your experience and empathy to build trust, de-escalate incidents, and promote positive behaviour strategies.
This role suits someone with a background in youth work, SEN support, or mentoring, and who is passionate about helping vulnerable students succeed.
The School – SEMH All-Through School
Located in Southwark, this specialist SEMH school supports around 130 boys aged 5-16. Rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted in their latest inspection (2023), the school offers a nurturing and inclusive environment with a strong emphasis on therapeutic support and personalised learning.
