Job Description

Behaviour Mentor – Primary – Harrow Location: Harrow, North West London Start Date: September 2025 Daily Rate: £90–£105 Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term A primary school in Harrow is looking for a dedicated and resilient Behaviour Mentor to join their support staff team from September. The successful candidate will work primarily with pupils in Year 4 or 5, providing 1:1 and small group interventions for those with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a direct impact on young learners by promoting self-regulation, emotional literacy and positive behaviour choices. Key Responsibilities: * Delivering behaviour interventions under guidance from the SENCO * Supporting children in class and during unstructured times (e.g., break, lunch) * Building consistent, positive relationships with pupils * Acting as a role model for behaviour and communication * Supporting a trauma-informed and inclusive approach to education Requirements: * Experience supporting young people with behavioural needs * Resilience and a strong sense of empathy * Excellent communication and teamwork skills * Confidence working independently and as part of a wider team * A background in youth work, mentoring or education preferred Why Work with anzuk Education?
