ASAP Start - Full-Time Role
Are you a resilient, compassionate individual looking to support young people with behavioural and emotional challenges?
A welcoming and inclusive SEN and SEMH school in West Berkshire is seeking a Behaviour Mentor to join their dedicated team. This full-time position is ideal for graduates in Psychology, Criminology, Counselling, or anyone with a passion for supporting vulnerable young people. You will be working with students aged 5 to 19 who present with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, trauma-related behaviours, and other additional needs.
Key Details:
Role: Behaviour Mentor
Location: West Berkshire
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £89-£100 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
Age Group: Children and young people aged 5 to 19As a Behaviour Mentor, you will: Implement de-escalation strategies and behaviour intervention plans whilst working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and mental health professionals. You will also help students regulate their emotions and engage positively in learning
This Behaviour Mentor role offers hands-on experience working with students who need structure, consistency, and compassion to thrive. You will gain a deep understanding of behaviour management, trauma-informed care, and therapeutic approaches that can shape your future career.
