Behaviour Mentor - Secondary School (Barking & Dagenham)
Location: Barking & Dagenham, East London
Contract Type: Full-time, Term Time Only

We are a dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Barking & Dagenham seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our pastoral team.
The Role
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
Work closely with students to promote positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring, helping students to develop strategies to manage their behaviour.
Support teachers in maintaining a positive classroom environment.
Act as a role model, building strong relationships and encouraging personal growth.
Help to implement behaviour policies and restorative approaches across the school.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth work setting.
Is patient, calm, and solution-focused.
Can build trust and inspire students to make positive choices.
Is committed to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of all students.
