The Role - Behaviour Mentor
We are looking for a Behaviour Mentor to join a fast paced SEMH School starting ASAP! For this Behaviour Mentor role you will be supporting students with SEMH and ASD needs on a 1:1 basis ensuring they achieve their highest potential. As a Behaviour Mentor you will have at least 1 years experience working within a School. Team Teach training is desirable for this Behaviour Mentor role.
The School – Behaviour Mentor
This SEMH school, part of a trust, is an all-through mixed special educational needs provision in Croydon, spread across three sites for pupils from Key Stage 1 to Key Stage 4. It provides 128 funded places, primarily for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans, supporting those with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties alongside additional needs such as autism, ADHD, severe anxiety, and communication challenges. With a nurturing, therapeutic approach, the school offers a broad, tailored curriculum, high staff-to-pupil ratios, and access to a multi-disciplinary therapy team. Strong partnerships with families and external agencies underpin its commitment to preparing pupils for adulthood and enabling them to thrive as valued members of their communities.
