Job Description

Are you a passionate Behaviour Mentor seeking a flexible new opportunity in Enfield? Or are you an experienced support professional dedicated to transforming the lives of young people with social, emotional and mental health challenges? Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking exceptional Part-Time Behaviour Mentors to work across secondary SEMH schools throughout Enfield. These specialist settings support vulnerable students with complex SEMH needs who require expert behavioural and emotional intervention to unlock their educational potential. We have flexible part-time positions available (2-4 days per week) starting now with excellent prospects for permanent placements. As a Behaviour Mentor you will be responsible for: 1 to 1 and classroom support Delivering behavioural interventions for secondary students with SEMH needs Running individual and small group mentoring sessions De-escalating crisis situations and providing trauma-informed support Building positive relationships to inspire student engagement and progress Working with teams, families, and external agencies Recording behavioural observations and tracking progress Supporting learning while addressing behavioural barriers To excel in this role you will need: Experience working with secondary students with SEMH needs Knowledge of behaviour management and de-escalation techniques Emotional resilience and ability to remain calm under pressure Enhanced DBS Disclosure and professional references Full employment history for the previous 10 years Right to work in the UK What we offer: Daily rate: £90 - £140 (increased after 12 weeks in role) Flexible working: 2-4 days per week to suit your availability Tradewind offers highly competitive daily rates with clear progression pathways, comprehensive CPD training programs, generous referral bonuses, and regular professional networking events.
