About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Specialist to join our dynamic team at a SEN school renowned for its commitment to supporting students with SEMH needs. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive learning environment and implementing effective behaviour management strategies tailored to individual student needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement personalised behaviour support plans for students with SEMH needs.
Provide one-on-one and group interventions to address behavioural challenges and promote positive outcomes.
Collaborate with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to student support.
Monitor and record student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet evolving needs.
Contribute to the creation of a safe, inclusive, and nurturing educational environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience working with students exhibiting challenging behaviours, particularly within an SEMH or SEN setting.
Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and their practical application in educational contexts.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and families.
Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or a related field are desirable.
