Job Title: Team Teach Trained Teaching Assistant
Location: Rugby, Warwickshire
Salary: £95 - £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
Contract Type: Full-time, Term-time only
Start Date: Immediate or Flexible for the right candidate

We are seeking a confident, resilient, and proactive Team Teach-trained Teaching Assistant to join a dynamic and inclusive school in Rugby. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural or emotional support, helping them to access learning in a safe and structured environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with behavioural, emotional, or social difficulties
Implement de-escalation strategies and manage challenging behaviour in line with the school's policies
Assist the class teacher in delivering a tailored curriculum that meets individual pupil needs
Create a positive and safe learning environment
Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
Requirements:
Current Team Teach certification (or equivalent positive handling training) is essential
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEMH, challenging behaviour, or SEN
A calm, patient and assertive approach
Ability to remain professional and composed under pressure
Strong communication and behaviour management skills
