Behaviour Support Assistant – Primary | Full-Time
Near Frankley Green, Birmingham | Monday–Friday, 8:30–3:30 | Immediate Start
APT Education is recruiting for a full-time Behaviour Support Assistant to join a primary school near Frankley Green. This is a hands-on role supporting pupils with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour, working closely with teaching staff to create a safe, structured and emotionally intelligent learning environment.
You’ll be part of a committed team who value consistency, resilience and proactive support. The role involves 1:1 and small group work, helping pupils regulate emotions, engage with learning, and build trust through clear boundaries and positive reinforcement.
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience supporting children with SEMH, Autism or ADHD
* Is confident managing challenging behaviour in a primary setting
* Brings a calm, professional and nurturing approach
