Behaviour Mentor – Stoke Poges Primary School | Full-Time | Long-Term Position Start Date: Immediate Pay: £85–£100 per day (depending on experience) Are you passionate about making a positive impact on children’s lives? A supportive and inclusive primary school in Stoke Poges is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join their team immediately. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and a commitment to helping pupils overcome barriers to learning. You’ll be working closely with staff, pupils, and families to promote positive behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and academic engagement. Key Responsibilities: Support pupils with behavioural, emotional, and social needs across the school Implement tailored behaviour strategies and interventions Work one-to-one and in small groups to build trust and promote positive choices Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to support individual pupil plans Monitor progress and contribute to behaviour reports and reviews Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive school environment The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience working with children with behavioural or SEMH needs Be confident in managing challenging behaviour in a calm and constructive manner Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills Be resilient, empathetic, and solution-focused Have a background in education, youth work, psychology, or similar (desirable) Be committed to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing If you're ready to be a positive role model and help children thrive both emotionally and academically, we’d love to hear from you!
