Supply Desk are currently looking for Behaviour Support Asisstants to join our team. Supply Desk work with various schools across Eastbourne and the surrounding areas, supporting them with day-to-day cover and longer term vacancies. Whilst applicants with classroom experience are preferred; we also encourage applications from applicants with a range of experience including: - Mental health support - Foster care - Youth work - Voluntary positions with children - Sports coaching As a Behaviour Support Assistant you will be responsible for: - Building and maintaining positive relationships with pupils - Working 1:1 and in groups as required - Managing challenging behaviour using de-escalation techniques, whilst remaining calm and professional at all times - Supporting pupils with their work in and out of the classroom Why work with Supply Desk? - We offer both long term and short term placements, with the option for flexible work if desired - Once cleared to work with us you will have access to our CPD library where you can access free training in subjects such as Understanding Autism, Resilience for Educators and Wellbeing - Refer a Friend! Refer a friend and earn up to £150 collectively! - You will have a dedicated consultant who will support you from interview to placement, ensuring everything runs smoothly and you have everything you need  If this sounds like the opportunity for you- please apply now with an up to date CV
