Job Description

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting on behalf of a number of Special Schools and Alternative Provisions based in Salford. This particular Setting is based in Salford and caters for pupils with: challenging behaviour, pupils with moderate and very profound learning difficulties and pupils with high and low functioning ASC ranging from ages 11-16. As a Behaviour Mentor your role will involve: delivering specialist interventions to support pupils who display signs of challenging behaviour, working in accordance with Schools behaviour policies and supporting Teachers throughout the Setting as and where directed.   In order to apply for the role as a Behaviour Mentor you should have: - Experience working within a School or Youth Work Setting - An understanding of de-escalation tactics and preferably training - A qualification related to Youth Work or Behaviour (desirable) If you believe that you have the skills and qualities to succeed as a Behaviour Mentor and wish to be considered for the position please apply directly. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
