As a Behaviour Support Mentor, you’ll:
Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with behavioural, emotional or social challenges
Build strong relationships that foster trust and respect
De-escalate incidents calmly and confidently
Work closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies and support plans
Act as a role model, coach, and steady presence in a young person’s day
What You’ll Need:
Natural resilience, empathy, and a sense of humour
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A calm, consistent and fair approach to behaviour
Experience working with young people (formal or informal)
A current DBS or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
