Are you an experienced Behaviour Mentor or youth worker with a passion for helping students with ADHD and behavioural challenges thrive in school?
We’re working with a highly regarded, inclusive school in Tower Hamlets that’s looking for confident, resilient, and empathetic individuals to join their behaviour support team. Roles are available for immediate starts and for the upcoming academic year in September.
What You Can Expect:
Daily Rate: Competitive PAYE pay starting from £100+
Structured Support: Full-time, long-term role with clear expectations and training
Expert Training: CPD in managing behaviour, de-escalation strategies, and SEN support
Pathway to Teaching: Opportunities to move into teacher training
Hands-On Experience: Cover and lead small group interventions under the guidance of senior staff
Collaborative Environment: Be part of a school that prioritises inclusion, consistency, and staff development
On-Site Mentoring: Regular check-ins and coaching from the pastoral and SEN teams
✅ What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people with ADHD and/or behavioural difficulties
Background in youth work, education, psychology, or a related field
Confidence managing challenging situations calmly and professionally
Understanding of (or willingness to learn) behaviour de-escalation and positive intervention strategies
Open to working 1:1 or with small groups of students
Committed to supporting students’ emotional and academic progress
Willing to undergo relevant training (including Team Teach or restraint if required)
Ready to start immediately or secure a role for September
