Behaviour Support Assistant - Andover Full-time/ Part- time -: £82.80 to £100 per day- September start If you are passionate about helping children fall in love with learning and helping them value education, then this might be the role for you. GSL Education are sourcing an engaging Behaviour Support Assistant for a special school in Andover.  We work with schools with a high level of need within SEN, and this would be a fantastic opportunity to have an immense impact on vulnerable children's lives. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pupils, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential. Role Details: Behaviour Support Assistant Location: Andover Salary Scale: £82.80 to £100 per day Start Date: ASAP/ September 2025 Responsibilities of a Behaviour Support Assistant: Supporting a pupil with Autism in navigating daily school life, using personalised behaviour strategies Building a trusting, consistent relationship that encourages confidence, independence, and emotional security Collaborating closely with class teachers, the SEN team, and the pupil’s family to implement effective support plans Helping develop social skills and positive coping mechanisms to aid in long-term progress and well-being Tracking progress, adapting support, and celebrating every step forward Requirements for Behaviour Support Assistant role: Experience working with children with SEN, particularly Autism or behavioural challenges (desirable) A calm, patient, and empathetic approach with a genuine commitment to inclusive education Strong communication and teamwork skills to work in partnership with school staff and families A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to remain positive in challenging situations Behaviour Support Assistant - Andover - September start To work with GSL Education as a Behaviour Support Assistant, you should:  Have the right to work in the UK.  Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.  Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
