About the Role – Behaviour Support Assistant
We are working with a warm and welcoming primary school that is seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.This is a 1:1 support role working with a KS2 boy who displays challenging behaviour linked to social and emotional needs. You will work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to implement strategies that support the pupil's emotional regulation, engagement in learning, and social interaction. Your responsibilities will include providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day and supporting the child to develop positive relationships and self-regulation strategies. This role would suit someone with experience in behaviour support, SEMH settings, or youth work – particularly if you are seeking a rewarding opportunity to work long-term in a primary school environment.
