Behaviour Buddy - Primary Teaching Assistant
 Location: Warrington

Empowering Learning are seeking a resilient, caring, and proactive Behaviour Buddy to support pupils within a welcoming primary school in Warrington. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children overcome barriers to learning and thrive socially, emotionally, and academically.

About the Role:

Providing 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with additional behavioural or emotional needs

Helping pupils develop positive coping strategies and engagement in lessons

Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management and inclusion strategies

Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils to encourage positive change

Assisting with classroom activities and creating a supportive learning environment

We're Looking For:

Experience working with children or young people (school, youth work, care, or similar)

A calm, patient, and encouraging approach

Strong behaviour management skills or a willingness to learn

Someone reliable, empathetic, and confident in supporting challenging behaviour

A commitment to promoting equality, inclusion, and pupil wellbeing
