Salary: £460 - £600 per week (depending on experience and qualifications)

Are you passionate about helping young people manage challenges and engage positively with their education? A welcoming school in Rotherham is looking for a committed Behaviour Support professional to join their team and provide valuable support to pupils who may need additional guidance.
About the Role:
As a Behaviour Support professional, you will work closely with pupils to help them manage behaviour, build confidence and overcome barriers to learning. You will provide classroom-based and individual support, working alongside teachers and pastoral staff to maintain a calm, structured environment where pupils can engage successfully with their education.

Responsibilities:
Provide targeted support to pupils experiencing behavioural or emotional challenges.
Work alongside teachers to support positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
Build positive and professional relationships with pupils.
Help pupils develop strategies to manage behaviour and remain engaged in learning.
Promote a calm, safe and structured classroom environment.
Monitor behaviour and provide relevant feedback to teachers and pastoral staff.
Support pupils individually or in small groups where appropriate.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable.
Experience supporting behaviour, SEMH or additional learning needs is advantageous.
A calm, patient and consistent approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
A genuine commitment to helping young people overcome barriers to learning.

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last two years.
Have an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
